The Project
We needed a new set of sales flyer templates for our sales team to use while working with clients curious about using Deephaven Mortgage for their Non-QM lending needs. Our brokers expressed to our team that they would like to see a more updated, modern flyer design which would be more visually appealing to a new younger wave of prospective Non-QM loan seekers.
Inspiration + Exploration
I explored various visual and conceptual directions anchoring my research on corporate brand identity and print marketing. I created mood boards for group brainstorming sessions and collaborated with our sales team to ensure ease of use and image/agent information querying ability.
I took inspiration from designers on online platforms such as Dribbble and Behance who specialized in corporate brand designs and infographics.


Original Design
The problem we found with some of our original flyer designs was twofold. Many didn't have the new redesigned logos and also didn't use the updated Deephaven fonts and colors.
The second issue we found with the original design centered around the discussion on whether a total redesign was needed. The current design structure was preferred by some brokers as it presented a more conservative design approach which was a look that some clients enjoyed.
Final Deliverables
I was able to devise a solution that appeased all stakeholders by creating two sets of templates that could be interchangeable by our sales team. One with a more modern rounded look, combined with an open floor design for text placement. Another that draws inspiration from our legacy content while improving the look and feel with the updated brand styling.
